I have started making scavenger hunts for our libraries and it is one of my favorite things to do! I make them using construction paper and hide them around the youth area of our library. When the kids find them all, they can come up and choose a sticker as their prize and they get so excited. So far, these have been really well received and are such a fun and easy thing to do to get kids excited to come to the library.
For February, I did a friendship and love themed one since we can’t directly say it’s for Valentine’s Day.
I move around the images every week so that kids who come regularly can do it over and over again and they never get bored of it!
