Last week, I got approval to put out a small flannel board that we used to have out before COVID! I made this Potato Head a while ago before I knew what I was going to do with it and I knew that is what I wanted to put out first. I made felt pieces that could make Mr. or Mrs. Potato Head so the kids could mix and match. It was really simple, didn’t take very long, and the kids are already loving it. They have been talking about the clothing and the different eyes and mouths and it is great to get them talking and playing.
I am going to make more felt activities for them to play with so I can mix it up. I am thinking make a pizza or something similar. Have any of you done interactive felt activities like this? What should I do next?
