Need a budget-friendly activity for toddlers? I am incorporating this one into my tiny STEAM program this summer for ages 0-3. The goal was to have cheap, educational, age-appropriate, and fun activities! The program will be a drop-in program so families can come and stay as long as they’d like within the two-hour period.
I got this idea from Mess for Less and adapted it. They did a shape sorting activity but I knew with my audience, color sorting would be more appropriate so I went with all circles since the wooden circles were easy to find.
I made circles on Microsoft word and printed a bunch out, cut them, then hot glued them to the wooden circles. I also cut extra circles, laminated them, and then hot glued them into ice cube trays. The wooden circles fit perfectly into the ice cube trays and I cannot wait for toddlers to get to play with this activity because it looks like it is so much fun!
