One little blue fish swimming in the water,
One little blue fish swimming in the water,
One little blue fish swimming in the water,
Bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble, POP!
repeat with different colors
Five Little Fish
Five little fishies swimming in the sea,
Teasing Mr. Sharkie “can’t catch me”,
Along came Mr. Sharkie quiet as can be, and
SNAPPED that fishie right out of the sea.

Early literacy tip
Sing songs with numbers and counting to practice early literacy and early numeracy skills!
Flannel board
Bubble, bubble pop!
We sang the song together and I asked them to count the fish and tell me which colors the fish were.
Craft
Paper plate jellyfish!
I cut and hole punched the paper plates before the craft. I put out coloring supplies and yarn and let them create their own jellyfish. This was a fun one!
How it went
This was a VERY fun storytime and kids still ask for me to sing these songs again so I will have to repeat this theme. There are tons of fun books about ocean animals and water!
